About
I would like to start by saying right up front; I did not get my first camera at an early age.
I was born in Bermuda, what some people have described as an Island Paradise for its scenic beauty.
In spite of being surrounded by crystal blue waters and sandy pink coral beaches, amazing sunrises and breath taking sunsets, not once did I take advantage of this natural beauty?
After completing my education in Toronto Canada, and career moves to Vancouver British Columbia, both places provided an abundance of landscape photography opportunities, but still I did not take any photographs.
After moving to the United States, specifically Las Vegas, Nevada, I purchased my first DSLR camera in 2010, a Canon T3i. It was at Red Rock Canyon on the outskirts of Las Vegas, that I discovered landscape photography and began to practice my camera skills.
When I retired I moved to the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. I was obsessed with learning all I could about digital photography, from on line courses on You Tube, to online learning at New York Institute of Photography. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
What you see in my pictures now are years of practice as a photography hobbyist. To try and capture the sights, emotions and yes, even tell a story every time the shutter button is pressed.
Welcome to my web site, enjoy.
